Harbor Packaging Goes Wireless with Top Gun
Cosmo T. DeNicola, president of Amtech Software, is delighted to announce the sale of Top Gun to Harbor Packaging, a twin plant corrugated box plant company, with manufacturing facilities in San Diego CA and Tijuana Mexico. Joseph Calabrese, Vice President of Harbor Packaging says, "Even with operations on both sides of the international border, we always know our inventory instantly, and in real time, thanks to Top Gun."
Top Gun is part of Amtech's comprehensive Imaginera system, which will allow Harbor Packaging to manage warehouse functions such as materials receiving, movements, truck loading and physicals from the seat of a fork lift or clamp truck utilizing vehicle mounted PCs, long range scanners and the latest in bar-code technologies.

Sisco Box get's "THE FORCE" from Amtech

Amtech Users Group Continues Strong Growth
Earlier this week the members of the Amtech Users Group convened in Atlantic City, New Jersey for their annual Fall Meeting. This year’s event, held at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino, was attended by employees of nearly 50 box plants - and featured Round Table Discussions, an “Ask the Experts” Q&A session, as well as Amtech Instructor led training.
The two day event is held twice annually (Spring and Fall) and has seen a strong increase in attendance each of the past 4 meetings. Karen Safrit, Director of Information Technology at Carolina Container and President of the Amtech Users Group, attributes the increase in attendance to continued user feedback and acting on the data to support member needs. She stated, “By allowing the members to drive the discussions and topics at these meetings, we are able to tailor the meeting towards their specific needs and everyone walks away with more information and usable data.”

Safeway implements eMotion
Cosmo DeNicola, owner and President of Amtech Software, is proud to
announce that Safeway Packaging has completed the installation of eMotion, Amtech’s web-based ecommerce software module. Safeway is a corrugated plant located in New Bremen, Ohio, serving the Midwest with right on time deliveries via company owned trucks.
Safeway’s IT Coordinator Greg Varno explained that “this new addition of e-commerce software will give Safeway’s customers 24 hour access to view and place orders, request a quote, and much more”. Safeway strives to analyze customer needs and develop comprehensive solutions. “eMotion is one example of a comprehensive solution for our customers,” Greg continued, “and it is the high level of customer-centered relations that has enabled Safeway to become a premier packaging supplier."

Acme Corrugated installs Retrieve2.0
