Amtech Software recently hosted its inaugural industry-wide cost seminar in Chicago, IL. Led by Jan Rohde, Amtech Management Consultant, this cost seminar helped attendees get a tight grip on their costs. The costing seminar was an industry-wide offering, regardless of the attendees’ current software systems. The class covered general understanding of cost concepts, the steps involved in creating accurate machine standards, how to breakdown costs for labor, materials, freight, warehouse, etc. and creating an accurate overhead model. Participants left the seminar prepared to ensure accurate costing and profitable pricing.

Amtech’s Management Consultant, Jan Rohde has over 32 years in the corrugated industry and has been extensively involved with developing and maintaining cost systems. Amtech’s cost seminar was an exciting opportunity to learn from the industry leading cost expert.
