Jan and Steve Rohde felt that Amtech's success as the market leader, as well as their software platform and strong research and development budget, will ensure a bright future for all Zytek customers. Sonoma will provide services and support for current Zytek products, while Amtech's powerful add-on modules will enhance current installations and provide a future migration path to the Imaginera Windows-based system.
     Amtech's E-Commerce module, called Emotion, has been enhanced to interface to the Zytek package. Installations will commence in June. Emotion, is an E-Commerce program that allows box plants and customers do business over the Internet. It has been sold to over 40 box plants in North America.
     "Adding Zytek's 150 box plant installations to Amtech's 400+ installations was a primary factor in the Zytek acquisition," says DeNicola.
     The combined operations will enhance Amtech's commitment to the box industry as they continue their tradition of aggressive R & D investment. Their innovative products have been enthusiastically implemented by the box industry.
